Biggest AT in Devon?
UK rental company Spence Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 150 tonne Grove GMK5150L All Terrain crane.
The new five axle crane is now the company’s largest and, according to the company, the largest crane based in Devon. It features a 60 metre main boom plus 11.2 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which can be extended to 17.8 metres. The crane can carry 10.2 tonnes of counterweight on the road within 12 tonne axle loadings – significantly more in the UK – The company has specified a number of optional extras including 10x8 drive, radio remote control and Grove’s Maxbase variable outrigger setup system.
