Two men on a bucket

From a reader in Belgium two men who have selected the most inappropriate access equipment and then to add to their sins make no effort to protect the public from their stupidity-definitely a Death Wish!

The two men using an excavator in the worst possible way

These two men were spotted in the town of Waregem working on a shop sign. Although there are at least two large powered access rental companies within three or four kilometres of this job, our makeshift sign fitters have chosen to use an excavator as a form of access equipment!

The two have balanced on the bucket and boom and been lifted into position, one holds the sign steady while the other bolts or unbolts it from the wall.

As if this crazy method of working was not bad enough, the two did not bother cordoning off the area underneath the work. Pedestrians were either obliged to walk underneath the two or walk out into the road behind the excavator. You can also be fairly certain that there were no cones in the road either.

You can see a couple wondering if they should pass under the boom or walk around the back for the machine.
