Vertikal Days is this week
Vertikal Days, the UK and Ireland's dedicated event for access and lifting equipment is here again, with more new products on display than ever before, it looks as though the weather may not be quite as nice as the last two years, although depending on which forecast you look at it doesn't look too bad.

The Vertikal Days welcome sign is up at Haydock Park for the 2011 event
The weather yesterday was bright and sunny although a little windy, today looks similar so far.

If mobile towers are your interest Instant UpRight has joined the PASMA Village since the guide in Cranes & Access went to press, rounding out the range of towers and low level access equipment on show.
Over at the ALLMI stand the challenge is on to find the loader crane operator of the year via a practical test of skill and speed- if you fancy your chances do give it a go.
Also make sure that you stop by the IPAF stand which will be demonstrating safe use of aerial work platforms and while there you can pick up its new US or European powered access rental reports- chock full of market statistics , including rental rate trends all in a very easy to read and hard hitting presentation format – definitely worth a look.

In addition to the exhibits there is a lot more to see, plenty of chances to win items such as an i-pad and many seminars that you of your colleagues can benefit from.
Most of the seminars will take place in the Marketplace meeting rooms, you can also pick up a coffee there and find all manner of exhibitors from software to batteries to specialist solicitors and safety electronics.
