Instant Upright loses appeal
Alloy tower and low level access equipment manufacturer Instant UpRight has lost its appeal against Alufase for copyright infringement.
The Irish based company lost its original case against Spanish based Alufase in 2009, when a Madrid court ruled in the company’s favour. Instant UpRight understandably appealed given what seemed like a strong case, but the Audiencia Provincial de Madrid ruling of July 26, now published, has dismissed the appeal and awarded costs against UpRight.
