Notre Dame announces Scholarship
The University of Notre has announced the Declan Drumm Sullivan Memorial Scholarship for students who are in financial need, and who can also demonstrate the traits that the late Declan Sullivan did.
The university says that could be through an interest in filmmaking, service to under-privileged youth, creative writing, or other passions.
Sullivan died last October after the scissor lift he was using went over in strong winds. He had not been trained and the school and senior staff said that they were unaware of the wind limits.
The scholarship was part of the Colleges settlement deal with OSHA.
