Manitowoc issue recall notice for Liftlux 260-25

Manitowoc Crane Care has issued a recall notice for Liftlux 260-25 scissior lifts in order to check for cracks in the pivit bush weld on one of the central scissor arms.

The notice asks that an immediate inspection be carried out and that if any cracks are found, affected units are removed from service until remedial work is completed.

Grove Sunderland is co-ordinating the recall, for the UK if you have not already received a notice, we recommend that you contact them as soon as possible.

Manitowoc sold the Liftlux scissor designs to JLG last year, but retained the responsibility to support the existing population.

JLG will relaunch this model, after having redesigned and updated it, at Conexpo in Las Vegars later this month.
