One week until Vertikal Days
Vertikal Days, the UK and Ireland's dedicated event for access and lifting equipment, is just one week away and looks set to be the largest and most successful in its six year history with more than 160 manufacturers or service providers represented, with a number of them launching new products to the market.
The two day event on the Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th is back at Haydock Park, Newton le Willows and – absolving myself of any responsibility for saying this – early forecasts suggest that the weather could well be on our side!
New products that have recently confirmed to be at Vertikal Days since the Cranes & Access guide went to press include Palfinger’s new 30 metre P330KS counter slewing truck mounted lift, the GSR/Palfinger 12.5 metre hybrid van mounted aerial work platform and 10 tonne Unic spider crane.
Cranes UK has also just announced that it will auction a Tadano Faun ATF160G-5 scale model for charity – with special paint in the winners livery - just one of many items up for auction or winning as part of an on stand draw.

Also of great interest will be the Market Place – which is not only where you will find the indoor exhibits, with products such as rental software, safety systems, batteries and training centres – but also a place to escape from the relentless sunrays...and socialise with a tea or coffee and homemade flapjacks and muffins.

The complimentary lunch will be served from 12.30-14.30 by the highly capable Vertikal Days caterer Barry Miles, serving his famous hog roast, barbecued burgers and hot dogs as well as his vegetarian chilli. The catering marquee also provides a great opportunity to socialise and network to the musical backdrop of the talented pianist Lincoln Noel.
