Mike Evans to offer consulting services
UK Access industry pioneer Mike Evans, has set up as a consultant following retirement from his full time post at Lavendon group.
While he is no longer an employee of Lavendon, he continues to work with the group on a consulting basis, covering major accounts and business development.
This change has now freed him up to take on other consulting work, offering advice on general rental administration, problem solving and setting up a successful sales strategy, particularly in relationship to the new Work at Height Rules.
Evans spent many years with Port Talbot Plant, (PTP) the company that pioneered specialist self propelled aerial lift rental in the UK. PTP was acquired by BET; he was then employed by GKN to build up a “Greenfield” powered access business.
After changes at GKN he joined the Lavendon group, originally to help set up the Sky access truck mounted division of Nationwide. He has been with Lavendon ever since.
