Stretching the limits

The Dutch manufacturer OmegaLift, better known for its crawler mounted scissor lifts has launched a new Narrow aisle wheeled Scissor lift with a 26.5 metre working height.

Such a product is rare enough, joining Holland Lift and JLG Liftlux, with a scissor over 25 metres, but this model is on a narrow aisle chassis with an overall width of only 1.24 metres.

The new OmegaLift NS260-600 offers 26.5 m working height with an overall width of only 1.2m

Omega say that the new model, designated the OmegaLift NS260-600, is designed for high rack storage warehouses. In spite of its height to width ratio, the NS260-600 is approved for both indoor and outdoor use.

OmegaLift says that this is the top of a three unit range, with 19 metres and 22.5 metre working height models also available. The first unit to be produced is said to have been sold in the UK.
