23 unit Land Rover order
UK boom lift manufacturer Niftylift has received an order for 23 units of its 13 metre V130T lift mounted on Land Rover 110 chassis.
Each of the 3.5 tonne 4x4 lifts has been specified with a stainless steel toolbox, four polycarbonate outrigger mats with storage rack, fibreglass platform and a bumper mounted winch. At this stage the buyer’s name has not been disclosed, but we understand that it is a major UK utility.

Vehicle mounted lifts are not the company’s main product line, its booms were previously mounted to various chassis by subcontractors such as Allan Access, however when that business closed down Niftylift took the product range back in house and has continued to build them on demand. This order is possibly one of the largest single orders that it has had to cope with at its Milton Keynes facility which is already operating close to capacity.

Steve Beckwith, Niftylift operations director said: “The timing of the recent order has been ideal for us and we very much appreciate the continued support of customers, particularly with our ability to accommodate a surge of vehicles within our dedicated production cell.”
The V130T is available on a range of chassis, depending on customer preference and requirements.
