25 percent expansion at Partnerlift
The German based association of independent rental companies, Partnerlift held its ninth annual conference this weekend in Hohenroda, Germany.
The meeting, attended by more than 100 delegates, was addressed by recently appointed managing director Kai Schliephake, who reported membership in the past year has grown to 103 rental companies with more than 145 locations in seven different European countries, employing over 1,500 and running a combined fleet of 14,500 units – a 25 percent increase over last year - mostly aerial lifts and telescopic handlers.

The aerial lift fleet was up just 10 percent to 7,000 units, while fork lifts - including 1,000 telehandlers - grew by more than 50 percent to more than 5,000 units. Member companies also include over 250 mobile cranes in their fleets.
“Our plan is to expand our traditional access equipment network by adding new partners for construction rental, forklift rental and crane rental," said Schliephake. “Furthermore Partnerlift has established a new business plan for further European expansion and a major upgrade of the franchise association’s web site which has generated around 45,000 sales leads over the past 12 months.”
“The new established advisory board of Partnerlift has agreed a new planning system for members, allowing them to better plan their capital expenditure and benefit from the group’s purchasing programme and discounted prices for equipment.”
