Bauma 2013 was great! See you in 2016 guys!
Good Evening Mr Editor,
Manitowoc Cranes are to be congratulated for displaying the excellent Centre of Gravity (CoG) decal on the left side of the MCL 165 Crawler Crane at Bauma last week.
This CoG decal clearly shows the ideal Lifting Points for Slinging the Carbody both Crossways and Lengthways to achieve the correct Centre of Gravity, without the need for Test Lifts to actually find it. This is an excellent Idea where Safety is concerned and should be adopted by all other Crane Mfrs ?
Well done to Manitowoc Cranes, very well done.
Kind Regards
Mike Ponsonby BA

If I had financial means and the time away from my occupational obligations to attend the show, it would have been an honor. The magnitude of manufacturers and their products is an overwhelming effect of industrial growth.
