CTC takes first Terex crane
Indian heavy lift and haulage company Chaudhary Transport Company (CTC) has taken delivery of its first Terex crane – a 55 tonne Toplift 55 truck crane.
The four axle Toplift 55 features a five section 42 metre boom plus a 9.2 to 13 metres bi-fold swingaway that takes maximum tip to 56.6 metres. Capacity on the fully extended main boom is 9.2 tonne and it can handle 750kg at its maximum radius of 32 metres.
Sandeep Sehrawat, Chaudhary Transport managing partner, said: “With the objective of improving our fleet’s reliability and performance, we made the conscious decision to seek a new manufacturer for our latest acquisition. Terex has a good reputation amongst end users in India and we know of many companies who already appreciate the quality and performance of Terex products. As a rental company, efficiency and reliability are essential to provide the service as per our customer’s demand and with new orders of big national and multinational players in the oil industry in the pipeline, the Terex product can deliver for us as well as our customers.”
