Crane Interest Group meeting

The UK’s Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) will hold its annual mobile Crane Interest Group open meeting on Tuesday 16th September at the Nuthurst Grange Hotel, Hockley Heath, Warwickshire - see: Vertikal.net Events

The meeting is open to everyone and includes HSE and Strategic Forum Plant Safety Group updates from Brent Bolton and Kevin Minton. Tim Watson will also cover a range of subjects, including the revision of BS 7121 Parts 1, 2 & 3 and road testing standards for mobile crane brakes as well as providing an update on the lifting of persons and EN13000.

CPA chief executive Colin Wood will discuss the Driver CPC exemption for mobile crane operators and the proposed European crane operator’s license. There will also be a good amount of time for the usual open forum question and answer session.
