5,000th Konecranes Reach stacker

Konecranes has delivered its 5,000th reach stacker to the Hans Lehmann group, for its cargo handling terminal in Lübeck, Germany, where it will assist with containerised rail freight.

The 5,000th unit - built at the manufacturer's Markaryd production facility in Sweden - is an SMV 4538 CCX4, designed for intermodal operations and with a capacity to lift wagons, trailers and swap bodies up to 45 tonnes in the first row, or 35 tonnes to the second row. The machine is one of the latest C generation models, which comply with EU stage 4 engine regulations and feature an all-new Optima cab.
