UK first for Cannon
Cannon Access has received the first 62ft Genie Z-62/40 articulated boom lift to be delivered in the UK from local distributor APS.
The new model, launched last year replaces Genie’s Z-60/34, it offers a 20.9 metre working height and an outreach of up to 12.5 metres. Features include zero tail swing, Genie’s Fast Mast dual riser and up to 1.7 metres of below ground level reach. One of its first jobs was the inspection and maintenance of Stisted Hall, a Grade II listed residential care home near Braintree, Essex.
Cannon Access owner Tom Cannon, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers the first Genie Z-62/40 in the UK. The Fast Mast system is excellent and our customers also appreciate the larger basket. We have some lightweight 20 metre booms in the fleet like the Niftylift HR21 which is great compact machine. However with the Genie Z-62/40 there really is no compromise, it has great performance, excellent stability and a really robust design - plus it’s very easy and intuitive to use.”
