New Tadano ATF70G-4 for Horizon
Scottish rental company Horizon Reinforcing & Crane Hire has taken delivery of a new 70 tonne Tadano ATF 70G-4 All Terrain crane.
The new four axle crane features a 52.1 metre main boom plus a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a hook height of over 70 metres and maximum radius of 44 metres.

The crane is also equipped with the latest Tadano outrigger beam extension detectors and assymetric outrigger system, allowing the crane to setup with the maximum footprint possible for the space available with the crane calculating a corresponding load chart.
Horizon’s Steven Dougall said: "We are pleased to add another Tadano to the fleet. Our ATF 65G has been a great and reliable crane, compact with a strong lift duties. Now Tadano has added extra boom length and it still has two engines, so this new purchase was an easy decision to make."
