First Nordic Genie Z-60/37FE

Danish rental company Lift & Loft has purchased the Nordic region’s first Genie Z-60/37FE hybrid boom lift from local distributor Jøma Lift Teknik.

The 60ft Genie Z-6037FE is the bi-fuel (Diesel/Battery electric) version of the new boom that was unveiled at the ARA in February.The direct electric drive machine offers 11.14 metres of outreach, 7.4 metres of up-and-over clearance, 135 degrees of jib articulation and a new tri-entry platform.

Mads Garder Laursen owner of Lift & Loft said: “We are always looking to provide our customers with new solutions. This particular machine provides new possibilities for our customers in Copenhagen where we have a no-noise policy until 6.00 am. The Z-60/37 FE boom allows my customers to get the job done during the night, when no one is around thanks to its ‘full electric’ mode and proceed to perform a full day’s work without recharging. 90 percent of my customers are based in Copenhagen where space is often tight and reduced noise and emissions levels are necessary. The ‘Hybrid’ mode of the boom offers an excellent solution. The versatility of the machine also means that we will be able to rent it out for all sorts of different applications and requirements..”
