New Grove carry decks
Grove is upgrading its line of carry deck cranes with Tier 4 Final engines that comply with the latest North American emissions standards.
The new cranes will adopt the GCD prefix, reflecting Grove Carry Deck. The first new crane in the series will be the 25 ton GCD25 and features a Cummins QSB4.5L Tier 4 Final engine.
The new crane features a 21.5 metre boom with optional 5.2 metre boom extension for a maximum tip height of 28 metres. It has four wheel drive and four wheel steer. A four-position pivoting boom nose enables the crane to work in applications with low head room clearance. Stability comes from four beam and jack outriggers with multiple position set up to suit confined areas and yet maximise capacity where space permits.
