JLG adds third US service centre

JLG has opened a Northeast service centre in Hagerstown, Maryland to address customer needs in the area, and to support the company’s drive to increase its service and support business.

The 1,000 square metre, six bay facility joins existing JLG service centres in Houston, Texas and Riverside, California.

As with the Houston and Riverside locations, the Hagerstown branch will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all brands of equipment, either at the facility or on the customer’s site. The list of services includes quarterly and annual aerial work platform inspections to meet ANSI requirements, preventive and planned maintenance, light and heavy repairs, and the same day supply of replacement parts. In addition as number of mobile service vehicles are based at the location ready for call outs for maintenance or repairs.

Jonathan Dawley, global vice president aftermarket said: “Adding the Hagerstown location provides increased capacity in the region and ensures we have the appropriate infrastructure in place to meet our customers’ needs and JLG’s future growth goals. This means faster response times and increased capabilities to service customers’ equipment and keep it running at peak performance.”
