New MD for Manitou Germany

Peter Wildemann has taken over as managing director of Manitou Deutschland, as the current managing director Dieter Finke prepares to retire in August.

Wildermann joined Manitou in March 2007 as finance and administrative director and since 2011 has been more involved with the commercial side of the business. Prior to Manitou he spent four and a half years as financial controller of Diehl Aerospace. He started his career in 1995 as an industrial salesman for power transmission company Ringspann.

Dieter Finke has been with Manitou since September 1996, and led the sales team as well as managed the business.

Manitou Deutschland is based in Ober-Mörlen, Hesse and distributes Manitou telehandlers and aerial lifts, along with Gehl and Mustang machinery, serving the construction, agriculture and industrial markets. The company employs 29 and operates through a network of 70 local dealers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
