Maeda for Kran Saller
German rental company Kran Saller has taken delivery of a new 2.82 tonne Maeda MC285-2 spider crane, the first of three Maeda cranes it has on order.
The new crane lifts its maximum capacity at 1.4 metres, has a lifting height of 8.7 metres, and a maximum radius of 8.2 metres. It weighs around two tonnes, has a width of 750mm allowing it to pass easily through single doorways, and work both indoors and outdoors. Additional features include an 850kg searcher hook, an outrigger interlock system, and tilt alarms. The other two cranes are a 3.83 tonne MC405 and one of Maeda’s new eight tonne MC815 which is expected in Spring 2017.
