Last Grove for Marsh
UK based crane and telehandler rental company Marsh Plant has taken delivery of the last Grove GMK 3055 All Terrain crane.
The 55 tonne crane features a 43 metre main boom and 14.9 metre swingaway extension. It has finally been replaced in the Grove line up by the 60 tonne GMK 3060, which sports a Megaform boom and the new CCS- Crane Control System. The boom length and extension on the 3060 are however identical to the older crane. The two models have run alongside each other in the Grove range, for more than two years.
The occasion was marked by a presentation at Marsh Plant’s Havant depot of a special 1:32 scale model of the GMK 3055 in Marsh Plant livery. The crane itself has been working in the Marsh fleet since late February.
