Tree trimmer catapulted
A man trimming trees from an aerial lift in Rock Creek, Idaho yesterday, was catapulted out of the basket when his machine was clipped by a passing truck.
The man was trimming trees from a bucket truck near Rock Creek General Store, when a dump truck clipped the platform. The tree trimmer landed on the ground and had to be air lifted to hospital. One assumes given that he was thrown clear of the platform that he was not wearing a harness and attached short lanyard.
A second man was also injured and was taken to hospital by regular ambulance. We do not know if this was the truck driver, or another man working from the ground.
Rock Creek is located to the south of Twin Falls, Idaho.
