Tree care worker hurt
A man was hurt in Lowell, Massachusetts on Thursday after the bucket truck here was working form collapsed dropping him to the ground.
The man 51, was trimming trees for J. Dumais Tree Service, when the top boom lift cylinder is reported to have failed allowing the boom to drop. The man was conscious and was rushed to hospital. We do not know if the failure was due to a technical issue or if a tree limb had struck the boom? The photo that we have received seems to show the platform was close to overhead wires, so it might easily have been far worse.
