De-icing platform overturn
A man working from the platform of a de-icing truck was injured at Logan International Airport in Boston on Friday night when the wing of an Alaskan Airlines plane, that it had just de-iced, caught up on his platform as it was pulling off, causing the de-icing machine to overturn.
The man was harnessed into the platform and was taken to hospital with injuries sustained from the overturn. We have not yet received an update of his condition. A recovery crane was called in to lift the platform back onto its wheels.

The entire incident was witnessed by passengers on board who tried to alert the crew to the fact that they were about to strike the platform, but to no avail.
