Two injured in scaffold fall
Two men fell from scaffolding in northwest Sydney yesterday morning, suffering serious injuries.
The men were working on a façade scaffold when they fell around three metres, landing on a lower level. The men, 33 and 24 suffered lower leg, arm, abdominal and facial injuries, they were reported to be in a serious but stable condition.
One man managed to get down from the scaffold, while paramedics had to climb the scaffold in order to reach the other, although he had been able to get himself down to a lower level.

This apparently is the scaffold from which the two men fell
Vertikal Comment
We do not know quite what caused both men to fall, but the photograph we have been sent, assuming it is indeed the scaffold concerned, suggests a pretty shoddy scaffold set up, with improper platforms and no toe boards.
