Patrick Clarke R.I.P

We have received the belated news that Pat Clarke of Nationwide Platforms has died after a long illness.

Clarke, known as 'Clarkey', passed away at his home on 22nd November after a long battle with cancer. He was employed as the workshop service manager for Nationwide Platforms' Warrington depot. He initially joined the company in 2000 as a service engineer, and was an original representative of the newly formed Employee Consultation Forum. He began his career in 1976 which he became an apprentice construction equipment mechanic.

Lavendon HR director Hayley Holloway said: "Pat was known to be a positive, hardworking team member with a passion for engineering and a dedication to his colleagues and customers. We send Pat’s wife and family our sincere condolences and best wishes at this sad time."

Clarke's funeral took place this morning at Blacon Crematorium, Chester and his family would be grateful that any donations in his memory are made to the hospice that provided him with care and comfort during the last weeks of his life. If anyone would like to make a donation, please click here.
