The crane's boom came down onto the other side of the road which was open to traffic at the time
The crane, a DRA Humma 25-25 had lifted and was moving a large free standing sign, complete with its steel legs. It had its 20.5 metre four section boom almost fully extended when it went over sideways. The three lanes of the street on the side the crane was working, had been closed off to traffic at the time, but the boom also came down into one of the lanes on the opposite side of the road, thankfully missing any passing traffic - possibly due to the early hour.
