Platform rescue for Koala
A koala bear stuck up a power pole in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia for two days with no food, shade or water in was rescued by a man using a truck mounted platform.
To make matters worse, the incident occurred during January’s heatwave in the Darling Downs region and the poor Koala was frequently buzzed by magpies and crows as it clung to the pole.

The koala being rescued
WWF-Australia released video footage of the rescue and the Koala’s release back into the wild, with a warning that excessive tree clearing is pushing koalas into developed areas.
