Demag for New Zealand

New Zealand rental company Tower Cranes NZ has taken delivery of a 130 tonne Demag AC 130-5 All Terrain crane.

The five axle AC 130-5 has a 60 metre main boom plus extensions which take the maximum tip height to 86.5 metres. The crane was delivered by New Zealand Demag/Terex distributor Titan Equipment.

Tower Cranes NZ’s new Demag AC 130-5

Tower Cranes director Julian Oxborough said: “The new crane has been a welcome addition to our fleet. The crane has been on site every day since we took possession of it, working on a multitude of jobs in our hire fleet and supporting our tower cranes.”

“Our guys say it is an excellent, well made crane that is easy to use. They’re already ranking it up with the top models in the fleet. And although we haven’t owned it for very long, I’d say we would definitely consider adding another one.”

Headquartered in Auckland, Tower Cranes NZ also has a depot in Wellington. The company’s fleet consists of All Terrain cranes, tower cranes and crawler cranes.
