Flagship depot for AFI

UK rental company AFI has opened a new state of the art ‘flagship’ depot in Birmingham, UK.

The new 8,900 square metre depot is the company’s largest, featuring rental offices, training facilities, a 1,393 square metre workshop, a fully floodlit yard and dedicated cleaning area for over 300 machines. UTN Training - part of the AFI group - has also moved to the site. The company offers a variety of training courses including IPAF, PASMA and IOSH, as well as a number of health and safety courses.

AFI’s new Birmingham depot

AFI director Nick Higgins said: “The purpose built Birmingham depot is born out of our commitment to invest in state of the art facilities that meet the needs of the changing landscape in the construction industry. This new flagship depot will accommodate the growing needs of our expanding customer base in the UK.”
