Another Liebherr for Millennium

UK rental company Millennium Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane.

The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 features a 35 metre main boom, at which it can handle 7.4 tonnes at full height when fully extended and 1.1 tonnes at its maximum radius of 31 metres. It is the fifth Liebherr crane in Millennium’s fleet.

Managing director Francis Carroll said: “Since taking delivery of the new LTM 1040 it has been out on hire every day. The feedback from both operators and customers has been positive. We’re very happy with the new purchase.”

Based just outside of Brent Cross, London, Millennium Crane Hire currently operates a fleet of around 20 All Terrain, city and truck cranes, topped by a 120 tonne Terex-Demag AC120.
