Induma Rent adds to sales team
German aerial lift and telehandler rental company Induma Rent has added to its sales team with the appointment of Markus Altenhoevel, with the responsibility for international rentals.
Altenhoevel joins the company from forklift manufacturer Still, where he has been a key account manager since 2013, and also involved in short term international rentals. Prior to that he worked with aerial lift rental company Gardemann for more than 13 years, most recently as its international rehire specialist. During that time he looked after a number of projects, including the supervision of aerial lifts, telehandlers and forklifts for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan 2012.

Markus Altenhoevel
He started out as an office salesman with the department store Karstadt in 1980, moving into the freight and logistics industry, initially with Spedition Uhlhorn, where he was a commercial clerk, for more than 10 years, moving for a short period to concrete paving company Behaton as a dispatcher leaving to join Gardemann in 2000.
Induma’s head of rental Ute Vollert said: "Markus Altenhoevel has been in this field of activity for a long time and has an enormous range of experience, much or it ‘out of the box'. Having an industry professional like him on board will be a very special benefit for our team - and an additional benefit for our customers."
Induma Rent is based in Stuttgart, and runs an extensive rental fleet including telehandlers, fork trucks, and aerial work platforms, while also offering service, training and other warehouse related material handling products and technology. The company also has a new and used sales department.
