Three Groves for Neeb

German crane rental company Neeb has taken delivery of three new Grove All Terrain cranes from local distributor KranAgentur Werner in the form of a 300 tonne GMK6300L, a 100 tonne GMK4100L and a 60 tonne GMK3060L.

The six axle GMK6300L has a seven section 80 metre main boom and up to 37 metres of extension, giving a maximum tip height of 120 metres. Features include interchangeable counterweights, all wheel steer and the company’s Megatrak suspension system. The crane has already completed its first job dismantling a crawler crane on a wind farm on route to setting up a tower crane at a limestone processing facility.

Neeb has taken delivery of three Grove All Terrain Cranes


The four axle GMK4100L-1 features a 60 metre main boom, while the three axle GMK3060L features a 48 metre main boom. It has an overall carrier length of 8.7 metres, a width of 2.55 metres and an overall height of 3.64 metres with its suspension fully lowered.

Neeb employees picked up three cranes from the Grove plant


Neeb general manager Armin Neeb, said: “Almost a year ago we received a GMK5150L, a strong and reliable crane that we are very satisfied with. This is one of the reasons why we decided to go with Grove again this time. The GMK3060L currently offers the best crane concept among the 60 tonne cranes - the long boom, the very small boom overhang, the compact dimensions and the high load capacities are unique."

Crane operator Ingo Klees was the first to drive the GMK6300L-1


Jonathan Reckers, area sales manager for KranAgentur Werner, added; "I think that these new cranes will prove to be an indispensable part of the company's fleet."

Established in 1961, Neeb is headquartered in Wuppertal and runs a fleet of All Terrain, crawler, spider and mobile tower cranes.
