Forsyth takes Rodger

Scottish/Irish crane rental company Forsyth of Denny has acquired the crane hire business of Scotland's Rodger Crane Hire Ltd from Willie Rodger.

Based in Earlston, in the Scottish borders, Rodger Crane Hire was originally part of Rodger Builders Ltd which was established in 1847. Today it runs a small rental fleet that includes several All Terrains and self-erecting tower cranes - along with a few aerial work platforms and general earthmoving machinery.

Forsyth has acquired the crane fleet, the buildings and the good sized yard, while the building side of the company, which is gradually being wound down, will remain with the Rodger family.
