211 Palfinger ETIs for Thailand

The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) of Thailand has started taking delivery of 211 units of Palfinger ETI's ETC 37 IH insulated truck mounted platform/bucket trucks. The units are manufactured at Palfinger ETI’s facility in Oklahoma, USA, and were supplied by local dealer and installation partner Hydroquip.

The ETC 37 IH features a short riser/lower boom topped by a two section telescopic boom to offer a 12.8 metre working height and 9.5 metres of outreach at an up and over height of 4.2 metres. Mounted locally on Hino XZU720 chassis, features include a fully insulated boom and basket, a 160kg maximum platform capacity and 360 continuous slew. The company says the order is its ‘first large scale penetration into the insulated platform market in Asia’ with the final batch of units schedule for delivery by the end of June.
