TVH acquires Battery Supplies

International replacement parts and aerial lift rental group TVH has acquired Belgian's Battery Supplies in an all share purchase, along with its subsidiaries Battery Supplies France and Battec Batterie Vertrieb in Germany.

Established in 1999, Battery Supplies has become a leading ‘one stop’ supplier of batteries, battery chargers and accessories, and is a mast dealer for Crown Batteries. It also offers battery and charger maintenance and repair services. The company is based in Deerlijk and has annual revenues of more than €43 million with 80 employees. It moved into its 10,000 square metre headquarters facility in 2011, and maintains an inventory database of 54,000 article numbers, of which 6,000 are kept in stock. Its subsidiary Battery Supplies France is located in in Meyzieu, near Lyon, while Battec Batterie Vertrieb is located in Erftstadt near Cologne, Germany.

Battery Supplies HQ in Deerlijk, Belgium

Battery Supplies will continue to operate as a stand alone business in terms of staff and facilities etc... although TVH says that it will be “exploring possible synergies".
