HC3 JLG boom for Rehm
German rental company Rehm Arbeitsbühnen has taken delivery of a new 86ft tri-capacity JLG 860SJ HC3 telescopic boom lift, one of the first to arrive in Germany.
The HC3 offers three platform capacities depending on the outreach with the machine automatically adjusting the capacity or outreach. It also has three person rating. The new machines has a revised control panel with the display adjust the brightness depending on the ambient light.
The machine has a three section boom plus jib with up to 130 degree of articulation to provide a maximum working height of 28.2 metres, a maximum outreach of 22.78 metres with an unrestricted capacity of 230kg, while the maximum capacity is 450kg. This capacity is available up to almost 16 metres, while the intermediate 340kg rating can be extended to 20 metres.

One of the first JLG 860SJ HC3 in Germany is delivered
Chief executive Uwe Rehm said: "We have many different machines in our fleet, so that our customers can always find the right solution for their various tasks, and yet we were looking for another machine that helps close the gap between 26 and 38 metre telescopics. A machine that also has something special, a decisive factor for choosing the new HC3 type was the increased payload of up to 450kg That's exactly what we found in the new JLG 860SJ HC3.”

Rehm is based in Munderkingen, Baden-Württemberg, south west of Ulm, and runs a mixed fleet with boom lifts up to 135ft, scissor lifts up to 100ft, mast booms and a few small truck mounted lifts. In addition to rental, it has a new and used sales department and offers IPAF training.
