New 72ft boom from LGMG

Chinese manufacturer LGMG has launched the new 72ft T22J (T72J in North America) dual capacity telescopic boom lift.

The new machine features a rising boom pivot point, with a three section telescopic boom topped by an articulating jib for a working height of 23.8 metres and a maximum outreach of 17.5 metres with a 300kg unrestricted platform capacity. Maximum platform capacity is 450kg with a three person outdoor rating.

At the same time, the T22J is equipped with a large 2.44 metre wide by 900mm deep platform with a triple entrance design. The machine has an overall width of 2.49 metres, an overall stowed length of 10.6 metres and an overall height of 2.79 metres.

The new LGMG T22J

The unit is powered by a Deutz Stage V/Tier 4 Final diesel with variable engine speed in order to reduce noise, and fuel consumption. Four wheel drive, oscillating axles are standard with 45 percent gradeability. Total weight is 12,300kg.

The T22J shares componentry and design with the company’s other booms, including CAN bus electronic control system with full on board diagnostics screen. The standard machine complies with the new ANSI A92, European EN280, Australian AS 1418.10, EAC and JIS standards.

Options include a generator, glass panel bracket, non marking solid tyres, secondary guarding, and telematics system.
