Wiesbauer acquires Florian Herbold cranes

German crane and heavy transport specialist Wiesbauer has acquired the crane business of crane, transport and heavy recovery company Florian Herbold.

The deal includes two dedicated locations in Bretzfeld-Schwabbach and Bad Rappenau, which will take the Wiesbauer network to seven locations - all of which are within Baden-Württemberg. The Florian Herbold crane fleet includes units from 40 to 150 tonnes, plus loader cranes, glass handling equipment and access platforms.

Completion is expected on September first, Florian Herbold will look to focus on its transport and heavy haulage business. The acquisition is part of Wiesbauer’s strategy to both expand, but also to provide a more localised service.

Established in 1958, Wiesbauer is based in Bietigheim-Bissingen covers Baden-Württemberg with a fleet of around 80 cranes and 160 employees.
