Versalift goes direct in Sweden
Versalift is to open a company store in Sweden to distribute its vehicle mounted lifts, alongside those of Ruthmann.
The company says the reason for moving from an independent distributor network to a wholly owned subsidiary is a desire to move closer to its customers. The new facility will be located in Falkenberg – between Gothenburg and Malmö – and will include offices, replacement parts inventory, and workshops. It will officially open next month.
The new operation will also handle Ruthmann German and Italian built truck mounted lifts, along with Bluelift spider lifts. Versalift has been selling these products through its dealers for several years but since the Ruthmann business was acquired by Versalift’s parent Time Manufacturing earlier this year (see:
Time Versalift acquires Ruthmann) the group clearly felt that the additional volume and product range, made a direct sales operation more justifiable.

The Versalift Sweden team
The company statement said: “We are well on our way to building our team, which will include a sales manager, a coordinator, and service technicians. The Swedish team will be working in close corporation with the Versalift International headquarter in Farsoe, Denmark.”
“Besides a sales department, Versalift Sweden AB will have a service department, with several service technicians placed throughout Sweden, allowing us to offer service for all the products in our selection. This will of course also include older lifts bought from our former distributors.”
