Three new Liebherrs for Wagenborg

Dutch international crane and heavy transport group Wagenborg Nedlift has taken delivery of three new Liebherr cranes.
The new cranes will be based at Wagenborg's locations in Groningen and Hengelo in the Netherlands while the first - a 150 tonne LTM 1150-5.3 All Terrain - has been delivered to its location in Hörstel just under 50 kilometres north of Münster in Germany. The new crane features a 66 metre seven section main boom plus a 10.8 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that offsets by up to 40 degrees. A seven metre insert can also be added to provide a maximum tip height of almost 95 metres and a maximum radius of 72 metres.

The second new model was a three axle MK73-3.1 mobile self-erecting tower crane which joins a unit delivered in August. The third crane to arrive was another mobile self-erector, the four axle MK88-4.1. All have all electric superstructures that can plug into a sites power outlet.

The three new cranes are part of a longer term multi-year investment programme.
