Speedy sell off

UK rental company Speedy Access has appointed Thimbleby & Shorland to sell more than 250 aerial work platforms from its rental fleet as part of its ongoing fleet renewal programme which includes a move towards greater fleet harmonisation following the merger at the end of 2020 of its three major acquisitions Lifterz, Platform Sales & Hire and Prolift.

The machines have been entered into Thimbleby & Shorland’s Contractors Plant auction in February and includes products from Skyjack, Genie, JLG and Niftylift, with boom lifts up to 65ft and scissor lifts of up to 53ft. The auction will also include a number of telehandlers.

The auction will be held online with registrations to bid opening on Friday 28th January, and will close at noon on Thursday 3rd of February.
