The
first stone of the new facility was laid in 2019, and is part of the manufacturer’s aim to make an impact on the North American access market by ensuring it has sufficient capacity to support its investment in a North American product line

The new facility has purposely been built almost alongside the existing aerial lift plant which is located on the Fosses Rouges industrial estate in Candé, which will continue to produce the two wheel drive and industrial boom lifts.
The new 18,000 square metre, €26 million ‘smart plant’ includes two automated production lines, a test centre and dedicated logistics facilities and is located on a 20 acre/eight Hectare site with 80 employees. Features include remote energy management and improved workplace facilities.
The following photos will hopefully provide an impression of the new plant.

Vice president of the new facility Sylvain Jaguelin said: "The aerial work platform market is a key opportunity for growth for the group. This modern factory gives us a very important and scalable production capacity that will accompany us in the long term. To support our development, our recruitment needs will be adjusted as the activity evolves."
