First 60t Sany telecrawler in UK
UK crane sales and service company Foster Cranes has taken delivery of the first 60 tonne Sany SCE 600TB to arrive in the UK, the new crane will be on display on the Foster Cranes stand at Vertikal Days, alongside its Hoeflon and JMG product lines.

The new SCE600TB arrives in Foster’s yard
The new crane features a five section 46 metre full power boom, with twin telescope cylinders and cable synchronised boom, topped by a 9.2 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of almost 63 metres at which it has a capacity for 2.7 tonnes at a radius of 12 metres. The extension offset by up to 30 degrees.
The crane is rated at three metres and can handle up to 10 tonnes on the fully extended main boom and lift 600kg at the maximum main boom radius of 38 metres. The maximum counterweight is 19 tonnes, which takes the crane’s overall weight to 64.9 tonnes. The overall retracted width is three metres with 800mm track pads, while the fully extended tracks take the overall working width to 4.8 metres. The crane has an overall stowed length of 14.7 metres.

The SCE600TB in action
Power comes from a Stage V Cummins diesel, with Rexroth hydraulic system, twin hoists, and a central lubrication system. The cab tilts by up to 20 degrees and is both air conditioned and heated.
Other features include a boom tip camera system, two tool boxes, working lights on the boom, remote controls and a 24 month, 2,500 hour warranty.
