Triple city for Felbermayr
Austrian crane and heavy moving company Felbermayr has ordered three 45 tonne Tadano AC 3.045-1 City All Terrain cranes.
The AC 3.045-1 City has a 31.2 metre main boom plus a 7.1 to 13 metre off-settable extension, taking the maximum tip height to over 45 metres. The crane’s IC-1 Plus control system monitors the outrigger set up and slew position to calculate the specific load chart.

The latest delivery takes the number of AC 3.045-I Citys in the company’s fleet to 18. The latest order is part of Felbermayr’s plan to gradually replace the Demag AC 40 City cranes in its fleet: Managing director Peter Stöttinger said: “We have had a bunch of these predecessors of the current AC 3.045-1 City hard at work for many years, and they’ve always delivered outstanding work results. That’s why we didn’t hesitate to replace the cranes with this upgraded model – especially since it’s even better in every possible way.”
“The crane’s characteristics such as its ability to telescope under load make it the ideal machine for work in tight spaces. And that means that this Tadano is our go-to crane for tight work sites in urban areas and, above all, for indoor work, he adds.”
