New premises for Star
UK-based rental company Star Platforms has moved its Kent depot to a new location in Tonbridge.
The company says that the relocation follows a significant increase in demand for powered access in the region and the larger premises will allow it to increase the number of machines based at the location, while offering improved training facilities.
Star Platforms will also share the depot with sister company Powertek that supplies power generation products, it will be based in an adjoining 325 square metre facility. This is the first time that the two businesses have co-located.

Star Platform's new facility - co-located with Powertek
Managing director Richard Miller said: “The new depot in Kent has expanded our offering throughout the region, increasing the number of machines available and ensuring that our customers have access to aerial work platforms as and when they need them."
“The move has also enabled us to upgrade our training facilities, meaning delegates will now have an improved training experience with us. Also, with both brands Powertek and Star Platforms operating out of the same location, this will give our customers access to our full product range dispatched from one depot across the South East of England and beyond.”
