Dingli sets new shipment record

On June 24th Chinese aerial lift manufacturer Dingli set a new record for the number of units shipped on a single day, with 451 units leaving its factories in 56 containers. The company’s previous record was set in March 2021 when it shipped 427 on a single day.

One major difference, in comparison to the earlier record - 15 months earlier - was that more than 90 percent of the units shipped on June 24th were battery powered. Additionally, more than 50 all electric boom lifts were among the 451 units, as well as a large number of heavy duty electric Rough Terrain scissor lifts, with working heights of up to 32 metres.

The destinations for the shipments included the United States, the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, South Korea and India. The company said that its order books remain strong, suggesting that the record shipment levels will continue, with a chance that a new record may be set before the year is out.
