More Faresins for Sunbelt

Sunbelt Rentals UK, has purchased a further five six metre/2,600kg Faresin 6.26 Full Electric compact telehandlers. The delivery follows a trial order early last year, as part of the company's ‘Our Planet’ programme aimed as reducing its carbon emissions.

The company has been testing the initial units in the field and monitoring customer feedback, as a result of the positive reviews it has taken its second batch of units from UK dealer GGR.

The telehandlers are powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, with regular 110 volt on board chargers for overnight charging. Sunbelt has also taken three 400 volt fast chargers for rapid recharging during breaks. The standard 300Ah battery will last up to six hours of typical use with a rapid recharge time of 1.5 hours from zero.

The latest units are all equipped with Faresin’s Farmatics telematics system that allows users to remotely monitor operations, geolocation, consumption and productivity of the machines in real time during use.
